Meet Our Attorneys

Mankin Law Group was founded in 1986 by Leonard Mankin. Leonard's vision was to help homeowner and condominium associations find greater peace of mind through financial stability and a more efficient way to collect their delinquent assessments. His unique and cost-effective collections process has helped Mankin Law Group grow from a solo practice to the thriving firm it is today.

Our team is currently 5 attorneys and a staff of 12 paralegals and assistants. After becoming a leader in association collections across the state of Florida, Mankin Law Group expanded into full-service association representation in 2016. We now have two attorneys on the team who handle all general counsel work for associations.

Your peace of mind relies on your association's financial stability. The timely collection of assessments is critical to the proper functioning of a community association.

Without the regular cash flow provided by the payment of assessments, an association is unable to pay its bills or provide routine services to its residents. Our decades of experience handling association legal matters has helped us recover millions of dollars in assessment collections for our clients.

Mankin Law Group pioneered the "back-end billing" model for association collections over 30 years ago.

Our unique fee structure features zero up-front costs. Our firm's fees come directly from the amounts collected from homeowners, so we only get paid when you do. This model allows you to pursue delinquent owners aggressively without placing undue financial burden on your community.

At Mankin Law Group, we take a proactive approach to collections, working quickly and regularly providing up-to-date status reports to keep you informed. Our team goes through extensive training to ensure we move through the collections process assertively while treating all homeowners with courtesy and respect.

Important Note

"Mankin Law Group gets paid when debts are collected or when client files are transferred."
